Groeituin013 is a great place to be. Two years ago, the garden moved to the Reeshofdijk, which provided more space. Seasonal vegetables grow here and are for sale in the garden store. Gardener Theo Sanders is proud of the tomato project, “We grow unfamiliar varieties, from cherry-sized to football-sized. Auberge de Bonheur even had a special dish with our tomatoes last year.” Organic cultivation and care for people and animals are essential. Because organic seeds are often lacking, the garden is working on its own organic seed bank for tomatoes, peppers and garlic. The garden will change considerably in the coming years.
