Candy Dulfer is coming to Tilburg with her Funkalicious Tour. The world-famous funk icon promises an evening full of groove, soul, and energy. After performing at large venues and festivals, Candy has once again opted for the intimacy of clubs and direct interaction with the audience.
About Candy
Since her breakthrough with “Lily Was Here” and the Grammy-nominated *Saxuality*, Candy has become a fixture at the highest level. She has scored number-one hits in the U.S. and Japan and collaborated with legends such as Prince, Nile Rodgers, Beyoncé, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, and Maceo Parker. It’s no wonder Prince once said, “When I want sax, I call Candy.”
The performance
Together with her band and powerful horn section, Candy delivers an energetic live show packed with funk, soul, and jazz. The opening act is Secret Rendezvous. The duo, consisting of Sietske Morsch and Remi Lauw, blends timeless soul with modern R&B influences.
