The artists’ collective it is part of an ensemble is presenting its new LP this evening: part 52 (or euphio for short). The album was recorded last September during a residency at See Lab in Scheveningen.
Part 52: the hiss from nowhere
This evening, the collective will transport you to the atmosphere of the Scheveningen jam sessions that inspired the album. Intimate or, conversely, exuberant songs are interspersed with improvisation, field recordings and stories. The programme includes: Duiventunes, You Are Beautiful, ‘a Heron story’, Het Uienlied, Dennis Houdt van Dieren, excerpts from Kurt Vonnegut’s The Euphio Question and, of course: Ich Bin Ein Gefühliche Jungen. Naturally, the new LP will be on sale this evening, with members of the collective adding drawings to the vinyl labels on the spot.
