An Intimate Journey Through the Dark Sides of Man
Playwright Marte Boneschansker takes you on a unique journey through the shadow sides of man with her new performance SHADOW. In this intense experience, hidden in the twilight, Marte explores the dark and often hidden sides of ourselves. What in you is not allowed to see the light of day? What brings the darkness to light?
SHADOW is a collective exercise where, in the safety of a twilight cocoon, you listen to the shadows of others and are invited to anonymously share your own secrets and frayed edges. Do you dare to face your shadow side and share it with others? This performance provides an intimate and safe space to embrace your full self and explore the balance between light and dark.
About Marte Boneschansker
Marte Boneschansker is known for her one-on-one documentary experiential theater. With performances such as BLOOS and ROUW, she has previously explored the unspoken parts of man, such as desire, loss and gender. Now with SHADOW she focuses on the darker sides of man, in an intimate and deeply personal performance.
