A tale of female imagery, skin hunger and fear of the other. DEVICKY. is a techno-tragedy with the beat as the mantra of female imagination.
DEVICKY (wax the pain away) tells the story of Vicky, a young woman who runs a hair removal salon and misses her mom. Together with her colleagues, Vicky wonders what kind of woman she is and wants to be. The salon is a symbolic setting for issues of women's images, skin hunger, self-love and body ideals.
