Fay Lovsky en Gerrie Hondius met een unieke show naar de Reeshof. ‘Questionable’ music, theatre and art at Heyhoef-Coolvibes

Heyhoef Coolvibes

On Sunday 9 February at Heyhoef-Coolvibes Seated Concerts, they will bring a very remarkable performance by these two extraordinary artistic artists of the Netherlands; Fay Lovsky and sand artist Gerrie Hondius. Original, bewildering, multifaceted and questionable. It is almost impossible for the curious music and theatre lover to miss this.

Fay Lovsky and Gerrie Hondius

Fay Lovsky is always momentarily famous at Christmas when ‘Christmas was a friend of mine’ comes on the radio. She still writes songs and music for film and theatre. Gerrie Hondius is an artist, sand artist and theatre maker.

The performance

Theatre and art come together in the sand drawing, projected on the back wall, with dry commentary on Fay's (questionable!) songs.
And those songs will be about security at airports, for instance, or how to build a man, or why am I in the kitchen. But are they allowed? As a song unfolds, Gerrie's drawings gradually emerge and give it a cheerful, beautifully drawn twist.

Support by Mrs Jones: Get carried away by our ‘Jazzy Moods & More’!

The jazz trio Mrs. Jones is formed around young Tilburg singer Janneke Teijen, aka Louise Jones. This trio made their debut at the first performance of the ‘Coolvibes Seated Concerts’ December 2019. After that, the trio became a real household name in the music scene of the Tilburg region and much in demand at various venues and special occasions. Now back on the old nest in the Heyhoef as a support act to Fay Lovsky.

Start 15.30 - Hall open 15.00 - Entrance € 14 - parking free.
