A mix of styles
Fuse, known as the resident band of Podium Klassiek, presents a surprising and versatile programme together with mandolinist Avi Avital. Featuring music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Béla Bartók, Sulkhan Tsintsadze, Omer Avital, Bryce Dessner and Gabriella Smith, among others, the result is a dynamic mix of styles.
From intimate interplay between cello and mandolin to a swinging jazz violin trio and a powerful combination of drums and strings: The Source and the Sea is a concert brimming with musicality, energy and scope for improvisation.
