Grief often goes hand in hand with compassion: people understand your pain and offer help. But that doesn't always happen, and sometimes you're on your own, even when you need support the most.
Emotion and music come together at Concertzaal Tilburg with Gianmarco Moneti
In this piano concert, Gianmarco Moneti brings the story of his dear friend Clara to life. She lost her father to suicide, a tragic loss that often raises questions that are difficult to ask. Using Clara's own words, inspiring images, and music by three composers, Gianmarco conveys emotions such as anger, loneliness, and dissociation, attempting to bridge the gap between grief and compassion.
Gianmarco started piano lessons at the age of 11. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees at the Turin Conservatory, specializing in chamber music and classical piano. He is now performing at Concertzaal Tilburg and is a finalist in Dutch Classical Talent, the talent program for young top musicians in the Netherlands.
