rozenboom-invites-s1920x1080 (1)

Two unique Tilburg pianists join forces for a special collaboration. Inspired by the Concertgebouw's Piano Nights concert series, Jan-Willem Rozenboom and Jeroen van Vliet will take the audience on a musical journey where classical and jazz meet. Bach and Beethoven surprisingly incorporated jazz influences into their compositions, while greats like Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock were inspired by classical masters. Jan-Willem and Jeroen bring this performance to life with their playing and enrich the evening with personal stories and anecdotes.

Jan-Willem Rozenboom

Jan-Willem Rozenboom is a classical pianist with an impressive repertoire. He released two Bach albums and a Schubert album and performed in the main hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Besides his classical work, he has been the regular pianist and composer of Guus Meeuwis for almost 30 years, with whom he wrote the well-known songs Brabant and Toen ik je zag (When I saw you), among others.

Jeroen van Vliet

Jeroen van Vliet is among the leading jazz pianists in the Netherlands. In 2014, he was awarded the prestigious Boy Edgar Prize. His solo albums have received rave reviews, and he has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Eric Vloeimans and German trumpeter Markus Stockhausen.
