Reintegration tour
But one thing is clear: Korthals comes into her own better in fragments than as a whole. And the longer she thinks about it, the more the same seems true of the world. So she sets out on a reintegration tour, to reconnect with herself and the world. To discover if there is anything left to save, because that feels just a little less painful than having to be saved herself. With the hope, however vain, of being complete for one evening.
Korthals in pieces is a musical and theatrical ode to all that is unfinished. Because let's face it, life is really one big try-out, isn't it?
