Pop-up Festival
On October 19, 2025, the second edition of the Pop-Up Festival will take place in the Hall of Fame in Tilburg. The festival is an initiative to create connections between musicians, audiences, organizations, and music professionals.
Something for everyone
The program offers something for everyone: from inspiring panels and showcases to a vibrant side program. This is the perfect opportunity for young musicians, professionals, and enthusiasts to come together and discover what's happening in the music industry. During the day, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet interesting people while enjoying musical talent and local start-ups.
In the evening, there will be performances by artists ranging from hip hop to alternative and from indie to electronic. It offers the best of the southern Netherlands, but firmly anchored in Brabant, as various parties can nominate an act: Het Pophuis, Rock City Institute, Muziekhub Zuid, and the Rockacademie.
Last year's headliner Heath was part of the first batch. The band is now making a name for itself, with Noorderslag and its own club tour in 2025. There were also up-and-comers such as Crybabies (Rockacademie), EDLP (Rock City Institute / Het Pophuis) & Ara (Het Pophuis). In this way, Pop-Up offers a springboard for up-and-coming talent.
2025
This year's springboard is intended for rock sensation Mood Bored (headliner), Gilly uit Zuid (hip-hop), XXJULIA (now soul), Grote Geelstaart (prognoise rock), Lucy Fabienne (pop), and Radar (instrumental). There will also be panels with inspiring musicians and members from various companies in the music landscape, such as Popronde, BMG, Mojo, and Friendly Fire. There will be a demo pitch, and we will discuss the future of music and what you can do as a young musician to get ahead.
The first fifty visitors will receive a goody bag filled with items from partners in the city, so make sure you arrive on time!
