Sleepbootfestival Piushaven
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June 2025, the cosy Piushaven will transform into a lively setting for a unique harbour festival. More than 40 tugboats will dock for a weekend full of maritime atmosphere. Take a look inside impressive engine rooms, have a chat with proud skippers and discover the power and charm of these sturdy boats.
Lively port
The tugboats dock at Tamboerskade, on the south side of the harbour. A varied cultural programme with music, theatre, bars, food trucks and terraces awaits in the adjoining Vendelierspark. No pounding beats, but surprising performances for the whole family, a dash of nautical nostalgia and the familiar Brabant conviviality. Piushaven is the perfect place for that. Part of Tilburg for over a century, once dug for trade, it is now a lively port where encounter, experience and pride come together.
