Storytelling party with drag queens at the LocHal Library on June 28
On Saturday, June 28 at 2 p.m., the LocHal Library, in cooperation with the Tilburg Pride Foundation, is hosting a sparkling and quirky read-aloud party for children ages 4 and up. Starring: the flamboyant drag queens Ivy Grace and Megan Schoonbrood.
During this festive event, Ivy and Megan will read from their favorite children's books and talk about their roles and experiences as drag queens in an accessible way. And of course children may ask them anything they want, about who they are, what they do and why they dress so beautifully. Everything happens in a cozy, happy atmosphere full of glitz and glamour, where everyone is allowed to be themselves.
After reading aloud, children can get their faces painted into a real glitter Queen or King by a professional face painter. There will be treats, a photo opportunity with the drag queens and a surprise gift for all participants.
The LocHal Library and Tilburg Pride Foundation invite children to come to the party in their most beautiful or most creative outfit. The activity is free of charge and intended for children aged 4 and older. Please register in advance via this link.
