In honor of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Renaissance composer Palestrina, the world-famous Tallis Scholars are visiting Tilburg. With their refined choral music, they pay musical tribute to the master who inspired composers from Handel to Beethoven.

The program includes Palestrina's most beloved mass, the Missa Papae Marcelli, alongside polyphonic works by Palestrina and his Spanish contemporary Victoria. Founded in 1973 by conductor Peter Phillips, The Tallis Scholars have been among the world's leading performers of Renaissance choral music for decades.
