The Tilburg Waterfestival

On 9 August at noon, the PlayFountain on the square will be officially opened in the presence of the Municipality of Tilburg, the Entrepreneurs Fund Binnenstad Tilburg (OF, part of BMT) and Wereldhave. After a brief opening word from the various parties involved, the PlayFountain will be activated with the push of a button. After this, the Tilburg Water Festival bursts into life for two days! On Friday 9 and Saturday 10 August, residents and visitors can take part in two fun water battles between 12.00 and 17.00 hours, free of charge and without registration. The ‘Blocks Battle’ on the PlayFountain and the ‘Jug Race’ on an inflatable belly slide next to it.

From 3 August to 2 September, the ‘PlayFountain’ guarantees plenty of fun on the Pieter Vreedeplein every day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.; in Tilburg's hottest spot in high summer, this is no luxury. The fountain offers 100 m2 of water fun with no fewer than 1024 water jets and dozens of water games. Each water game is accompanied by lighting and matching music, resulting in surprising and interactive entertainment for young and old! And that's not all. In the pop-up parks on Pieter Vreedeplein, you can chill out, have lunch, work or participate in free workshops during this period. To complete the summer playground, there will also be a picnic area and kids who don't want to get wet can entertain themselves with the various chalk games around the PlayFountain.
