Tilburg in Koor
From 19 September to 11 October, choirs from Tilburg will be taking to the streets. Every weekend, you can enjoy performances in unexpected venues, such as Poppodium 013, LocHal, Pauluskerk and even places where you wouldn’t necessarily expect to hear singing.
About Tilburg in Koor
Discover the diversity of Tilburg’s choral scene: from classical to pop, from close harmony to world music. Come along and be amazed by the energy, the accessibility and the joy of singing together. Anyone who wants to experience for themselves just how much fun singing together is can take part in free singing workshops throughout this month. Registration is required. In addition, various Tilburg choirs are opening their rehearsal evenings to visitors looking for an enjoyable leisure activity. The anniversary year will conclude with free choral performances on 22 November in the Tilburg Concert Hall.
Federation of Tilburg Choral Societies
‘Tilburg in Koor’ forms part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Federation of Tilburg Choral Societies (FTZ), which has been committed to promoting choral life in the city for decades through advocacy and knowledge-sharing. The focus for the future is on fostering connections by bringing choirs together and responding to their needs. Non-members are also very welcome to join in. A large number of Tilburg’s choirs are now members, representing all age groups and genres.
