Tilburg Star Tour
On Sunday, Jan. 5, the Tilburg Star Tour will trek through downtown for the third time
Last year was again a great success. The Tilburg Star Trek is a cultural parade with singing, dancing, music and performances. Many children participate in the parade. Participants carry (homemade) lanterns and light objects. The Tilburg Star Parade starts at Willemsplein near the Paleis-Raadhuis and lasts until 7 p.m.
The Tilburg Star Parade is a cultural parade with an idealistic purpose. The event stems from the centuries-old Epiphany tradition. Part of this was an entry of the Epiphany. Light is the central theme of the Tilburg Star Parade, a symbol that plays an important role in all cultures and stands for hope and a positive future. The event invites everyone to participate, regardless of background or faith, and emphasizes values such as solidarity, sharing, equality and togetherness.
