Normality No More
The performance 'Normality No More' is a unique collaboration between three leading ensembles, bringing together musical theater, modern dance, classical music and science. The central question is to what extent we show our own personality and whether we always dare to be ourselves. In addition, the performance explores what we can learn from people who experience and interpret the world differently. 'Normality No More' is an tribute to the neurodivergent brain and offers an innovative and inspiring look at diversity of thought and perception.
An unusual ensemble
The Ragazze Quartet brings together a unique ensemble of strings, percussionist and vocalists that effortlessly switches between styles. With Ntjam Rosie and Genevieve Murphy on stage, they transform Schubert's “Winterreise” into a blend of soulful jazz, electro-pop and dance rhythms. Young choreographer Davide Bellotta, a former dancer with Conny Janssen Danst, makes his large-venue debut under her guidance. The text is also given a new form: Dagmar Slagmolen (Via Berlin) and Lucky Fonz III reinterpret Müller's original poems. With sixteen performers, a groundbreaking and unpredictable spectacle emerges: ‘Normality No More’!
