“The Spinnery was opened on October 4, 2020 after a successful crowdfunding by Yvette Kouwenberg, a real crazy cat lady with a social heart.”

“The Spinnery is home to eight adopted Greek cats who steal the show (and your heart) every day. As a guest, you can enjoy tasty drinks and snacks or high tea while playing and cuddling with these pub tigers.”

“The Spinnerij is unique! There is only one cat cafe in all of Tilburg and the growing number of regular guests shows that there is a need for a place where you can unwind and be yourself surrounded by all of our cats.”

“Meanwhile, the Spinnerij has become a social living room where our guests feel at home, where hospitality is paramount and where our 8 cats are the connecting factor. Our cat cafe was co-founded by over 300 donors from mostly Tilburg and the surrounding area and that makes it a place 'of all of us'.”
