"We are three brothers. Jaap is the man behind the delicacies that come out of the kitchen. Sam and Joris are the hosts who ensure the atmosphere and the matching drinks. Together, we form a sort of Tilburgian trinity."

"We have a large sign above our shop that says, 'From Kale to Caviar.' That sums it up perfectly. In the afternoon, we serve lunch, and people come in to pick up sandwiches. Especially the BalBurgerij and Broodje Jaap are very popular. But we are most well-known for our platters. These are generously topped boards with various delicacies from our shop. We have different varieties: hams and cheeses from all over Europe, various fish specialties, and vegetarian surprises."
