In an authentic little building on Besterdplein you will find Eetwinkel Verzot; Denise and Auke's delicatessen store where everything revolves around craftsmanship, quality and love for food!

We love good food, and we are happy to see that there are more Tilburgers who share the same passion. Let's pay a visit to Denise and Auke.

Why is everyone enamored of Verzot?

Auke: "You can come here for takeout, which is freshly prepared in the open kitchen. Every week there are new dishes on the menu, from Italian pasta to Indian butter chicken. Denise likes to experiment in the kitchen and keeps innovating her offerings. People also stop in for freshly made sandwiches, drinks boards, and tasteful (business) gifts. Buying a gift and not bringing something tasty for yourself? That turns out to be quite a task! Just try to resist the delicious charcuterie and cheeses in the fresh display case."

Why do people come to the business?

Denise: "We have many regular customers, who regularly treat themselves with a visit to the store. They come back for the lasagna bolognese, baguette mortadella, homemade egg truffle salad, and our homemade pies. And we could go on and on because tastes differ and everyone has their favorite."

What makes Verzot typically Tilburg?

Auke: "Denise is a true Tilburg native and loves to share her passion for food. Ask her for advice if you want to make a dish yourself or take a ready-made meal nice and easy. I like to be at the front of the store to help think about a nice gift package or everything you need to have a nice drink at home. We are always looking to collaborate with area entrepreneurs and have many local products for sale."
