Bookcase

Since 2020, this colorful work can be found in the parking lot of the AH XL supermarket. The mural contains various references to well-known films and TV series, such as the Transformers and the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.

About the artist

Zenkone (Robin Nas) is a Dutch street artist. In 2005, he started his own design studio in Breda. His work ranges from illustrations and murals to paintings and graphic design. His style is characterized by flowing lines, which he sometimes combines with photorealistic elements, often created with spray paint.

Since 2021, the Bijgerijpad in Tilburg has been home to Nick J. Swarth's location-specific poem Een nest, een mand (A nest, a basket). The poem adds a poetic layer to the surroundings and invites passers-by to pause for a moment.
