Now that you're recharged with a coffee, it's time to wander! The Dwaal area is teeming with hip businesses from creative and quirky local entrepreneurs. Walk in and have a look everywhere. For instance, ‘VANDEMAKER’ is one of the first shops you come across when entering the Dwaalgebied from the shopping street. In this concept store, you only buy honest and original products from (local) makers. Are the kids along for the ride? Then be sure to stop by ‘Het Zingende Nijlpaard’. This nostalgic toy shop is truly a (poetry) picture both outside and inside. You will find mainly (wooden) toys from the past. Vintage lovers will definitely get their money's worth at Sam-Sam. This store is full of those 2nd hand vintage clothes and vinyls. This is where you will score your new favo retro item.

Fancy a hearty lunch after a spot of shopping? De Burgerij is the place to be. In this charming French-Dutch brasserie, three brothers make sure you’re well looked after. From traditional Dutch fare to generously topped brioche toast, and from a delicious fish soup to a lavish platter. Would you rather dine later in the day? De Burgerij also serves a delicious dinner.
Musical pastime
As an afternoon activity, a visit to the Kessels museum is well worthwhile. In this small-scale museum, you will experience the city's musical history and see the musical instruments preserved from the famous Kessels family of Tilburg. A guaranteed fun pastime for young and old!

End your day with a movie at the Cinecitta. Housed in a beautiful historic building, Cinecitta has represented fascinating arthouse films in Tilburg for over a hundred (!) years. You don't go here for the big Hollywood films, but for special films with a story.
