The Museum Quarter

Textielmuseum

Art, history, green spaces and creativity come together in the Museum Quarter. Here you’ll find De Pont Museum, the TextielMuseum, Wilhelminapark and various venues where artists and creative makers are at work.

De Pont

De Pont succeeds in following contemporary artists from home and abroad over a long period of time in their development and making it visible through solo exhibitions. You come to De Pont not only for the special exhibitions, but also for the space the museum offers for art.

TextielMuseum

The TextielMuseum is anything but stuffy. It is the only place in the world where design, art, fashion, heritage and textile innovation come together. Tilburg has a rich history with textiles and is therefore located in a former Tilburg Textile Factory.

PARK

PARK is a platform for contemporary visual art housed in the former Goretti Chapel in Wilhelminapark. It organises exhibitions and other activities, providing a space for both established artists and emerging creators. It’s a lovely place to discover contemporary art outside the familiar museum galleries.

Wilhelminapark

Wilhelminapark is situated right in the heart of the Museum Quarter. The park was laid out in 1898 in the English landscape style and is now a listed monument. Take a stroll, settle down on a bench or, above all, take a good look around you. All around the park you’ll find distinctive buildings and creative spots.
