013 Poppodium as venue for Popronde 2024

On Thursday, October 31, the Popronde descends on Tilburg. This evening 013 is also under the spell of the Popronde, with the OOR stage in the Next, the FunX stage in the foyer of the Next, and the official afterparty in the Next Foyer. Admission to these shows is of course free.

Popronde is the biggest traveling festival in the Netherlands! Every year, the festival sees showcases of emerging young talent from the Dutch music scene. For over 25 years, Popronde has been an important pivot in the rise and career of many successful Dutch acts. This year, the Popronde comes to Tilburg on Thursday, October 31. This evening 013 also serves as the location for the Popronde, with the OOR stage in our Next, the FunX stage in the foyer of our Next, as well as the official afterparty in our Next Foyer.

Inspired by artists such as The Smiths, The Strokes, Wire and PJ Harvey, Lorem Ipsum makes alternative rock. Expect punchy basslines, explosive drums, ripping riffs, in-your-face vocals and cheeky lyrics. Yan Lâle is an Amsterdam-based band that weaves together various worldly sounds into a delicious, psychedelic blend of cultures. Using English and Turkish vocals, Yan Lâle takes you on a journey through their universe. Get ready for the genre-transcending Heath! The “vintage modern” band performed at Roadburn earlier this year with their combination of complex time signatures, blazing harmonica and hypnotic guitars and narrative lyrics.

Escape the hectic pace of today's society with the soul, jazz and pop infused hip hop of Jean Jacques. This old soul, with a penchant for design, vintage cars and anything well before his birth year, takes you into an analog world of hip-hop and design with his casual raps. R&B talent Sky Feliz is working hard to carve her own unique place in the music world. This eclectic singer, songwriter, producer and actress with British, Surinamese and Dutch roots brings a delicious blend of alternative R&B, neo-soul and electronic sounds.
Rotterdam resident NAVARONE COLE effortlessly merges hip-hop and fashion into one art form. His philosophical raps are accompanied by catchy beats full of heavy synths.

The afterparty will be provided by none other than Absent Chronicles! The work of this audiovisual artist has previously been on display in museums and at festivals such as the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam Dance Event and Reeperbahn Festival, and he has also collaborated with various brands and artists such as Apple, NIKE, Netflix and BTS member 'V'. Tonight he brings his mix of crossover bass and club music and cinematic electropop to our Next Foyer!
