6LACK Comes to Tilburg
For the past decade, 6LACK (pronounced ‘black’) has been one of the defining voices in modern R&B and hip-hop. The artist from Zone 6 in Atlanta first broke through with FREE 6LACK and further developed his distinctive sound on East Atlanta Love Letter. Blending dark production, melodic songwriting and honest reflections on complicated relationships, he has carved out a unique place within the genre. Along the way, he has earned five Grammy nominations, amassed billions of streams and collaborated with artists including J. Cole, Future, Selena Gomez, Young Thug and Lil Tjay.

On his latest album, Love Is the New Gangsta, 6LACK reveals a more open and personal side. Themes of love, fatherhood, responsibility and personal growth take centre stage, while his signature mix of deep basslines, crisp hi-hats and melancholy remains intact. Featuring contributions from Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Leon Thomas and Odeal, the album adds new dimensions without losing its personal touch. It’s a long-awaited show and a perfect fit for our Main stage.
Opening the evening is Johnny Venus. Best known as one half of EarthGang, he has built a reputation through a blend of rap, soul, funk and experimental production. In his solo work, he leans further into soulful R&B and funk. On the single ‘I Want You Back’, he shares a personal story about regret, growth and the desire to win back a lost love.
