Together, they breathe new life into Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair: three influential albums that helped shape avant-prog and continue to leave their mark on alternative music. Rather than simply reproducing this music, BEAT opts for reinterpretation. The minimalist, rhythmically complex, and often edgy character of the original work is reimagined and expanded by four musicians who have each played a significant role in the development of modern rock. The support of Robert Fripp and Bill Bruford underscores that this project is not about nostalgia, but about reinventing an iconic repertoire.
