Comfort consultation at Wobby in Tilburg
Artists Miriam Reeders and Eva Meijer will hold a consolation consultation hour at Wobby in Tilburg on April 23. Reeders and Meijer were both confronted with serious illness. They talked a lot about illness, care and the lack thereof.
At the end of 2024, they founded De Vereniging ter Bevordering van de Troost, an art project about attention, listening and care. For people who are ill, but also for everyone else. Because in today's world, we can all use some comfort. During the comfort consultation hour, Reeders and Meijer will first give a presentation about comfort. Then we will have a conversation and do a drawing exercise. The consultation hour is hosted by Wobby. Wobby.club is a platform for visual art with a focus on drawing. The meeting will take place in NS16, at NS plein 16 in Tilburg (ring the bell at Wobby). Admission is free, but places are limited, so register here.
