Niek Hilkmann
Niek Hilkmann is an artist and musician from Rotterdam with an interest in non-human sounds and communication. For his latest project, Snug as a bug, he has been attempting to become an insect himself to create music through stridulation. Unlike Aesop’s famous fable of the grasshopper or cicade and the ants, he hopes you’ll embrace his playing into your heart and won’t leave him out in the cold.
Victoria Kennett
The French dancer and choreographer Victoria Kennet, presents her piece “mosaïque”.
“we are fragments. fragments of time, fragments of people everything I’ve come across, I’ve put together in the mosaic of my body colorful, everchanging every place, every smell, every face is part of who I am today.”
“mosaïque” is an ode to my past and the history of my body. It’s a collection of memories, the clear, the confused, the painful and the magical ones. Victoria journeys through the elements of her physical memory in the skin of a character coming from dreams, video games, science fiction and cabaret, trying to recompose the fragments of an enigmatic puzzle.
