With a fantastic band and a gem of an album under his arm, Leo Alkemade managed to win over audiences in 2023 with his first theater tour In the Wheel. Alkemade, known mainly for his cabaret shows, success films and Snipers, shows a different side of himself during his concerts.
The evening is steeped in musicality, and Leo sings of the parallel between cycling and life. 'The love of the race and the race of love.' Stories of trial and error, of servants and winners, of looking backward and forward. In December of this year Leo, accompanied by his musical friends comes with a reprise of 'In het wiel', supplemented of course with new music. With his characteristic and humorous narrative style, Leo strings the concert together, an evening full of beautiful songs and stories, straight from the heart, as only Leo can.
