For years, his audience has been asking for a career overview with the greatest hits from his impressive oeuvre, but Joost's answer has always been short and sweet: no. For him, looking backwards is simply not an option. ‘Be great or be gone’ has been written above his piano for years - a motto that still keeps Novastar relevant and continues to drive Joost to make top-quality music. Yet Mikey Rowe & Andrew Britton, the British producer duo Joost has been working with for some time, managed to persuade him to take a look back.

A must for every fan

Months of work were spent in studios in both Belgium and the UK to create The Best Is Yet To Come. The goal? An album with a real live feel. And Joost got the chance to make his childhood dream come true: he recorded the final bits of the album at Abbey Road Studios' legendary Studio 2, the place where The Beatles recorded their iconic albums. A perfect way to conclude these recording sessions. With the release of The Best Is Yet To Come, Joost also wants to get back to doing what his heart is all about: playing live. On Friday 18 April, he will bring his finest songs, in a fresh new performance, to the Concertzaal. A unique rediscovery of the Novastar repertoire, and a must for every fan!
