How will AI imagine humans in the future, long after they have become extinct? And what does it mean to be “offline” in that world? Get inside the head of a cyborg imagining the analog world of humans.

Offline Tourists is set in the year 2500. Humans have become extinct, and the earth is overgrown with greenery. But among all that greenery live cyborgs of all shapes and sizes.

A so-called Hu-bot organizes an experience for the cyborg audience. From the future, the Hu-bot takes the viewer back to 2025 to explore what being offline meant and what life was like for those offline creatures. After all, in 2500, we can no longer imagine that! To complete your experience, the Hu-bot creates two copies of humans—including flesh, blood, and bones, for education and entertainment: Come and see! Come and see! The reverse Frankenstein!
