Seú (Harvest Festival)

Seú Oogstfeestoptocht

The Seú is one of Curaçao’s most important cultural traditions. It originally began as a harvest festival during the era of slavery. Today, the Seú is a colourful celebration of history, heritage, solidarity, resilience and pride in Curaçaoan culture.

More than just a harvest festival

The Seú is an annual harvest festival that originated in Curaçao and is also celebrated on Bonaire. The parade is renowned for its colourful folklore, traditional costumes and rhythmic music, and is an important part of Curaçao’s cultural heritage. Team I.Bu (Islanan Bunita) is bringing this special tradition to Tilburg-Noord again this year. On 13 September 2026, we will celebrate together the history, culture and sense of community of the Curaçaoan community.
