Where art, conversation and experience come together
Are you alt-right or woke? Climate activist or nitrogen junkie? Black or white? Do you prefer champagne art or commercial uniformity? Our bubbles are safe, but also suffocating. In self-affirming circles, we find identity and applause, while algorithms increasingly inflame polarisation. Do we still make an effort to understand the unknown, or are we in love with our own righteousness?

Who pops the bubbles? is part of The Five Encounters. These multidisciplinary gatherings explore five urgent themes that divide and connect our time. Each encounter opens from a different perspective. Sometimes philosophical, sometimes activist, sometimes playful or vulnerable. The Five Encounters is a production by IoA, in co-production with DansBrabant & Pop Up Cinema.
