WE, the BREATH
Take a deep breath and let yourself be carried away by the power of collective breathing. WE, the BREATH is an energetic dance performance in which six dancers from ICK Dans Amsterdam fill the stage with rhythm, intensity, and physical expression.

This is not a moment of standstill, but a restart. A leap forward in which space is created for a new consciousness. The dancers let themselves be carried away by the pulsating beats of Donna Summer's I Feel Love and the raw power of Eminem's Without Me. And then there is sometimes silence, in which only breathing remains audible.
The choreography is direct and uncompromising. Every movement resonates through the space, just like the neon lights that move along as metronomes of time and energy. You become part of the whole. Image and light reinforce the tension between control and letting go, between capturing time and disappearing into it.
With WE, the BREATH, ICK Dans Amsterdam opens the WE cycle: a ritual of movement, transformation, and unstoppable energy. Here, collective power is created—in the breath, in the heartbeat of the audience, and in the energy that is released when everything comes together.
