Besides the oasis of tranquility, there is also plenty to do at Abdij Koningshoeven. For example, they have been brewing their own Trappist beer here since 1844: La Trappe. This is still done within the context and walls of the abbey, under the supervision of a monk. But that's certainly not all, as the monks make many other products such as, artisan cheese, fresh bread, pastries, honey and more. Just take a look at the monastery store, where the monastery's products are for sale. Not seen enough yet? You also have the opportunity to live with the monks in the guesthouse. Here everyone is welcome who wants to take a few days away from the busy, daily life.
