Stadsbos

Stadsbos013 consists of a number of unique natural areas. Many of these parks were designed by famous landscape architects. And you notice it. There is a wealth of extraordinary nature as well as buildings of all times and all styles. Nature, romance, culture, sports and games, education, art, and entrepreneurship naturally come together here. Nice to know: Stadsbos013 is the source of pure drinking water for the city.

Child's Play

Building forest cabins, mess pools and wobble trees. The Play Forest fully challenges children to climb and clamber. Walk the elf or giant path and search for magical creatures. Fun for children and for parents because the little ones are exhausted in the evening and go to bed early.

The Bels Lijntje

The vanished 1867 railroad line Bels Lijntje is now a 37-kilometer bike path. The path runs from north to south through Stadsbos013. The route takes you past hidden history, culture and, of course, beautiful nature.

Dirty

Stadsbos013 has had its own mountain bike trail since March 2019. About 18 kilometers of cycling fun. Suitable for beginning mountain bikers, challenging enough for more experienced cyclists. Whatever your skills, you will get dirty anyway.

The spot

In this case, the spot is not a spot, but part of a walking route. Walkers who take the Reeshof route feast their eyes. Modern buildings and nature alternate. Scottish Highlanders graze peacefully in between. The route goes a bit over the Reeshofdijk, a swamp more than a century ago. Be surprised by beautiful moraines of windblown sand. Tip: lace up your shoes after walking.
